1875 Tea Cup with Stork Shaped Handle

Hi there, my mum has this lovely tea cup with a heron or stork or crane shaped handle, but i cannot find out who made it. It does have a kite mark on the base that i think dates it to. 3rd april 1875.

It has a gold rim, with a stork head and body shaped handle, with the wings going around the side of the cup.

If anyone could help identify the maker it would be great.

Hi Jenny, there's very little chance of identifying the maker of your cup without a photo of the cup or of the base mark.

You should try submitting your item again with a photo.
