The Antiques Directory

1. How does the Antiques Directory work?

The Antiques Directory lists websites and other antique resources in random order with details shuffled during each update. NOTE: Websites that link back to antique-marks will appear in the top section and their title will be clickable.

To be included in the directory you simply browse to the relevevant category and click on the Submit to this section link. You then complete the submission form, include some photos and your author details before clicking submit.

• When we recieve your details we will manually verify that your site, or other resource, is antiques related before including you.
• Once you are listed in the directory we will send you a confirmation email. Please make sure you provide a valid email address by selecting the correct notification options.
• Anonymous listings or listings lacking a valid email address will not be processed.

2. How do I make my antiques directory listing into a link to my website?

Making your listing a link to your website is easy. Just submit your details and then place a link back to antique-marks.com using the images and code provided on our Link to Antique-Marks page.

Once we detect this link is live we will automatically update your listing and make your heading and thumbnail image a live hyperlink. It will then move to the top section of the category it is in.

PLEASE NOTE: Updates occur on a weekly basis but, if you want to speed this process up, simply use our contact form to tell us where you have placed the antique marks link and we will check it manually.

3. I have added my details, when will they appear?

From the time you submit your details to when they will appear in the antiques directory will vary slightly, but it should take no more than 48hrs.

IMPORTANT - make sure you check the notifications option and provide a valid email address. This will allow us to inform you when your submission has been included.

5. How long will my details/website be listed in the antiques directory?

Once listed, your site is displayed permanently.

As time passes and more visitors add websites and resources, your listing may be pushed down the listings or off the first page in a category. You can only increase your listings prominence by linking back to antique-marks.com, which will move your listing into the top section.
