Help Identify Limoges Porcelain

by Sue Parker
(Oshawa, Ontario, Canada)

I am hoping that you can help me to identify several pieces of limoges porcelain that I acquired at an auction. They are all the same, cobalt blue with gold trim and lots of decorative gold.

The image is of five people, some playing musical instruments, with a large whitish urn in the background.

It almost looks like a romance scene.

I'm thinking of selling them, but I'd like to know more about them.

Also, how can I tell if they are authentic or fakes?

Any time you can spare to help with identification would be greatly appreciated.

The pieces are a plate, two egg-shaped with lids, and a dish with a lid.

Thank you
